What do you do about people who drain you? Who make you feel bad about yourself? Who are not happy when you have success or other positive events in your life? Or, what about the person who constantly looks at the world negatively?

Folks, we are responsible for our internal environment, and if that’s negative, for whatever reason, we will be negative and raise our risk for disease. If you find yourself feeling drained or unhappy after being around a negative friend, you may need to have a discussion with them about their attitude. If they are not receptive to what you are trying to convey … well, then you may need to walk away.

Surround yourself with people who uplift you, encourage you, and leave you feeling inspired. You’ll be happier for it.
